For everyone — no account needed

You don't need an account, an invite, or a camera to follow a competition on Lineup. Live scores and event draws are open to anyone — it's a free, read-only companion to any contest running on LiveHeats.

  Live Scores — follow a heat as it runs: every surfer's waves and running total update live, with the heat clock counting down.

  Events & Draws — search any event, open the full draw round by round, or switch to the Scheduleto see the day's running order and scheduled heat times.

Lineupis an independent companion — it displays publicly available LiveHeats results and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by LiveHeats.

Watching someone surf

For family & fans

  You'll get a private link from the surfer you're following. Tap it, choose a password — you're in.

  The stream only plays when they're live. If you see an offline message, they haven't started yet — just check back soon. It's not a problem with your link.

  You can only see your surfer's feed — it's private by design.

  Missed a good one? Tap the 30s button (bottom-right of the video) to instantly replay the last 30 seconds. Nothing is recorded or saved — it just shows you again what you've only just watched, then it's gone. It only works while they're live; once they finish, there's nothing to replay.

  After a replay — or if you've fallen a little behind — a Go LIVE button pops up in the top-right. Tap it to catch straight back up to what's happening right now.

Wave-by-wave replays

For family & fans

You don't have to stare at the screen for forty minutes. Lineupwatches the feed for you — when someone stands up, a small “Kai's up!” bubble pops on the video and a replay button appears underneath. Tap it to see that wave again from just before the take-off. When the judges score it, the button becomes Wave 1 — Kai — 7.50.

It spots rides by sketching everyone in the water as a stick figure, a few times a second — shapes, not faces. Standing up, out over water, moving fast across the wave: that's a ride. Kids wading in the shallows, or someone walking the beach while the camera pans, don't fool it. If it isn't sure who it is, it says “Someone's up!” instead of guessing.

It's not the 30s button — that hands back the last half-minute of whatever you were watching; these jump you to one particular wave. Both play video your phone already pulled down: nothing is recorded, nothing is stored. Your phone keeps about the last ten minutes, older waves grey out, and joining late means you can't rewind to before you arrived. A REPLAY tag shows whenever you're in the past.

Names come from singlet colours in the heat draw. If it calls the wrong kid, whoever runs the stream can pull that call in one tap.

Close the tab and the replays are gone — there's nothing to come back to later.

Running your own family stream

For surfers

  Create your channel — pick a channel name, your name, and a password. You'll land straight on your admin panel.

  Invite your family right away — send each person a private link from your admin panel. Viewing is invite-only, so only the people you invite can watch.

  When you're ready to go live, connect your camera. Your admin panel has a step-by-step checklist for creating a free Cloudflare account and copying the three values it needs — no tech background required.

  Point your camera at the stream— open OBS (or your phone's streaming app), paste in the RTMP server URL and stream key your panel shows you, and start streaming.

  Hit Go live and your family can watch. Tap Go offline when you're done — the feed only ever plays while you're live.
